Welcome Desk Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY: Full Time, Pay Rate: $10.50/hour
This position requires extensive telephone and face-to-face contact with clients and other providers, as well as assessing crisis situations and routing emergency calls/situations to the proper personnel, quickly and efficiently. Primary position involved daily contact with customers on telephone and/or in person. Individual must present well and have excellent customer service skills. Position is responsible for the following: greeting guests who enter the building and answers and routes calls using a multiple telephone line system. Team member may be required to perform other duties as needed. Must demonstrate effective working relationships with other departments. This opportunity involves being an integral part of the front door of Directions for Living. This position will work to establish measures of excellence that will enhance the customer's experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet visitors and direct them to designated locations
- Route calls using a multiple telephone line system
- Ability to partner across the organization with multiple departments through the exchange of data, information, and frequent communication
- Provide excellent customer service, internally and externally.
- React calmly and effectively in emergency situations-able to call agency codes when directed.
- Work with minimal supervision.
