Salary: $85,000/ annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a professional position providing supervisory oversight for a group of Integrated Decision Team (IDT) Facilitators attached to high risk programing in the Families First, Housing First, and Outpatient Services Divisions. These programs provide an intensive wraparound approach to engaging and working with families and youth at high risk for mental illness, violence, suicide, abuse and neglect, substance use, and homelessness. Referrals are program specific and can come from the Pinellas County School System, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice System, or Pinellas County. IDT Facilitators ensure that high risk behaviors and situations are identified and mitigated by utilizing a solution-focused, family centered approach and evidenced based or research supported practices to assist families in meeting needs and goals while preventing further incidents at school, with law enforcement, or child welfare. IDT facilitators will work with all members of the family using a Wraparound, team-based approach in a supportive, empowering and respectful manner to assist the youth and family with creating safe and stable coping skills and parenting practices to facilitate long-term behavior change that will ensure that the youth and family are safe in their school and home environment.


The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing will play an integral role of support, coaching and guidance for a team of IDT Facilitators who will be serving children, adolescents, and families, with mental health, substance abuse, and housing needs. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing is assigned to oversee IDT Facilitators engaged in Wraparound staffings that involve Intensive Case Managers, Counselors, Children's Care Coordinators, and natural supports and is responsible for guiding the team in identifying and mitigating risk as well as supporting the youth and family in treatment/recovery by ensuring Wraparound services that include case management, counseling, and care coordination. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing will be a subject matter expert on identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring the Wrap staffings follow the Wrap model of utilizing natural supports, community supports, and input and resources from other community partners or professional agencies. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing will ensure that all services adhere to the HFW principles of: Family Voice and Choice, Culturally and Linguistically Competent, Individualized, Strengths-Based, Natural Supports, Community-Based, Team-Based, Collaboration and Integration, Persistence-Unconditional Care, and Outcome-Based. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing will ensure that all services emphasize individualized treatment planning that is strength based and built collaboratively with the youth and family and natural and community supports that care about and know the youth and family best. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing will ensure that all services occur in the community at a place convenient and comfortable for the family. This is an office based position with some field work. The Supervisor of Risk Management Staffing is responsible for ensuring an annual client service level of 1, 410 per IDT Facilitator. Achieving the minimum required weekly, monthly and annual client facing client care hours is an essential function of this positon.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, or related area of study or a master's degree in Social Work, or related area of study from an accredited college or university
  2. A minimum of two years of previous supervisory experience required.
  3. A minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk populations to include families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health, and emotionally disturbed children.
  4. Must become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound and become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach within 3 months of employment. Preference will be given to individuals who are currently certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach in high fidelity Wraparound.
  5. Previous child welfare experience is preferred.
