POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a responsible supervisory position providing leadership for the Children and Families post judicial reunification support services that includes, targeted case management, IDT facilitator and in-home therapy by licensed and master's level licensed therapists. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Integrated Family Services-

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative/Supervisory Responsibilities

  1. Ensures adequate staff coverage for all service activities.
  2. Ensures that productivity levels of staff are adequate and relevant to service needs.
  3. Reviews statistics and service line reports on an ongoing basis and takes appropriate corrective actions as needed.
  4. Monitors progress and ensures achievement of each service line's contractual goals and objectives through a child safety lens.
  5. Participates in the process of service line planning as appropriate and requested by the Assistant Director of Integrated Family Services.
  6. Ensures that client records are maintained with compliance.
  7. Interviews for open positions and selects primary job candidates.
  8. Ensures the development of Staff Development plans for staff under supervision and ensures staff under supervision complete required training.
  9. Organizes work, establishes priorities and exemplifies adaptability to change and creative thinking to improve quality, productivity, and customer service/satisfaction.
  10. Addresses staff performance issues as needed; promotes professional responsibility; coaches staff to be successful in job duties.
  11. Motivates staff; keeps staff well informed and solicits input to appropriately manage the service lines.
  12. Completed performance evaluations on a timely basis and as needed.
  13. Provides constructive feedback to staff on an ongoing basis and takes appropriate corrective action for sited deficiencies.
  14. Ability to partner across the organization with multiple departments through the exchange of data, information, and frequent communication.
  15. Clinical Direct Services
  16. Ensures that case management and in-home therapy staff establish and maintain effective rapport with clients and maintains high satisfaction rate with clients.
  1. Supervisor will manage to a recovery and resiliency based service delivery system.
  2. Supervisor will provide clinical oversight to the development of the consumer (of services) service plan/recovery plan.
  1. Supervisor will ensure that all required clinical paperwork is completed within time frames set forth by policy and external regulatory bodies.
  2. Adheres to Organization policies, professional standards and legal requirements regarding clinical practice.
  3. Supervisor will be familiar with National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
  4. Supervisor will serve as back up to "on-call" services when clinically appropriate or administratively necessary.
  5. Demonstrate cultural competency in service provision including recognition of any unique aspects of persons served.
  6. Supervisor will act as the point of contact for all program site visits, audits, or other program monitoring by outside sources as requested by the center director.
  7. Supervisor will be responsible for completing chart audits as a measurement of quality at least monthly or as needed using the electronic health record system (Avatar).
  8. Provide a minimum of 6 clinical billable hours per week.
  9. Insure that staff involve significant others of clients in their evaluations as appropriate.
  10. Demonstrate a high level of responsibility and accountability for client care for all assigned clients, with timely follow-up, engagement, managing a high show rate, and ensuring an efficient client discharge planning process.

  1. Administers, scores, and interprets relevant objective and projective measures. Measures are selected based upon the referral question, with specific measures used with individuals where there is concern about their ability to parent effectively. 
  1. Complete documentation for all services provided and for the purpose of documenting client progress or regress including the documentation of all missed appointments, efforts to engage, and case closures.
  2. Regularly attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and other required meetings.
  3. Demonstrate ability to accept and share ideas with others; exhibits good listening skills; proactively communicates with supervisor on an on-going basis regarding progress with specific tasks, and identifies problems and successes.

  1. Master Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage and Family
  2. Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Practitioner, Marriage and Family Therapist. LCSW preferred. Skills

  3. Provide supervision and guidance to behavioral health case managers who provide services to adults and children, and licensed and non-licensed therapists. Provide review and oversight on assessments, treatment planning, case management and therapy activities including documentation.
