Supervisor II Housing Works Homeless Services Program

This is a responsible supervisory position providing leadership for services providing increased access to housing specific intensive case management and supportive interventions to individuals and families who have entered the homeless crisis response system or are at-risk of entering the homeless crisis response system due to challenges secondary to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Housing Works Program Supervisor is responsible for working in partnership with the Homeless Leadership Alliance and the Coordinated Entry System (CES) to identify those experiencing homelessness, to prevent homelessness when possible and to connect people with housing quickly and to provide the needed and necessary services to ensure long-term permanent and stable housing. The position includes the direct day to day oversight of team members assessing, linking, coordinating and monitoring services to address all aspects of social determinants of health of the individuals and families served including addressing unmet mental health needs.  The Housing Works Program Supervisor will oversee staff responsible for housing specific intensive case management, clinical consultants who will identify the mental health needs of the individuals and families served, staff who are providing targeted homeless prevention to vulnerable populations such as those over the age of 65, families with dependent children including youth aging out of foster care and those living with a severe mental illness, as well as staff responsible for facilitating integrated decision team staffing's, and a housing navigator responsible for locating landlords of affordable housing offerings for the purposes of rehousing individuals or families who have entered the homeless crisis response system.  The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that staff are collaborating in the development of service plans in partnership with the individual/ family. This supervisory position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and at hours outside of normal business hours.  The position requires management and supervisory skills, and expertise with prevention, diversion as well as co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

1. Master's degree in the Human Services field with a minimum of three years' leadership experience within an outpatient community mental health organization or homeless services organization.
2. Must have sufficient administrative knowledge to provide quality leadership for personnel with varied degrees of experience and training.
