Position Summary Supervisor HomeBuilders : Provide support, supervision, training and development, and oversight to a HOMEBUILDERS® team of counselors. Serve as primary liaison between HOMEBUILDERS® team and the agency's leadership team. Serve as one of the primary contact with the HOMEBUILDERS® consultant regarding implementation of the model and program fidelity. Be available to respond to client and counselors crises as they occur. Reports to the HOMEBUILDERS® Director.

Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.

REQUIREMENTS Supervisor HomeBuilders :

• Graduate degree or greater in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field and at least 2 years' experience working with children and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals, exercise discretion, maintain client and employee confidentiality, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions; good driving record (no serious infractions in past 5 years); vehicle in good working condition; automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
• Meet state / contract requirements for transporting clients and for unrestricted access to children (e.g., no crimes or negative actions that would affect background clearance, no driving infractions that prohibit transportation of clients).
• Valid counseling credential if required by your agency/state.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, and must live in designated service area.
• Expertise with MS Word, email and the Internet. Familiarity with Excel preferred.

Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be willing to be vaccinated against COVID-19 immediately upon hire. This is a condition of employment, exemptions to this requirement must be addressed in advance with HR.
