Supervisor E-HIM/Quality Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a professional position providing integral support and leadership in the development of the county-wide Supplemental Security Income/Social Disability Income (SSI/SSDI) Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) benefits program. The Supervisor of SOAR Works will convene and lead the local SOAR support meetings to advise and encourage those working with people experiencing homelessness in preparing and submitting complete and appropriate applications.

Duties Include:

1. Serve as the community coordinator for county-wide implementation of SOAR.
2. Conduct meetings with community partners to discuss SOAR implementation.
3. Develop relationships with the office of SSI/SSDI to expedite the processing of SSI/SSDI applications.
4. Edit and support SSI and SSDI benefits applications prepared by anyone in the county submitted for people experiencing homelessness.
5. Serve as a liaison between people submitting SSI/SSDI applications and the Social Security Administration offices.
6. Develop and maintain a positive, professional relationship with the community partners.
7. Conduct Outreach to engage individuals in need of services and identify potential SOAR candidates.
8. Conduct interviews with clients to gather information to complete SSI/SSDI applications.
9. Gather medical records and other information to complete SSI/SSDI applications.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field required, with two years' of related and supervisory experience preferred.
