Supervisor Crisis Counselors LE

 We are seeking a dedicated mission driven Licensed Supervisor with excellent leadership and Clinical Skills to supervise Masters prepared Crisis Counselors who will work in partnership with law enforcement on a 24/7 weekly basis. Counselors, under the clinical supervision of the licensed practitioner, will all be trained in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) to ensure they are able to support the law enforcement officers understanding and confidence in the use of MHFA.   Crisis counselors respond to law enforcement officers via on-demand Tele behavioral Health when the officers have responded to a call from a person experiencing a mental health crisis. The licensed supervisor will supervise a team of up to 10 counselors, and will provide quality clinical oversight, resolve barriers to effective service delivery and ensure effective working partnerships between DFL and the officers of the partner law enforcement department. 

Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited college or university. Florida licensure required as an LMHC, LMFT or LCSW. Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) a plus.  License One year related previous experience conducting brief clinical assessment for the purposes of involuntary admissions to a psychiatric hospital under the baker act.  Must be competent in the use of a Tele-behavioral health platform for service delivery.  Excellent leadership and management skills required.  Must have sufficient administrative knowledge to provide quality leadership for personnel of varied degrees of experience and training, must have sufficient clinical knowledge to provide clinical intervention with adults who manifest a range of pathology utilizing various treatment approaches, and to provide clinical supervision to assigned staff.  Must have a Minimum of three years relevant experience.
