Supervisor, Children's Outpatien

Supervisory position providing leadership for an outpatient treatment program serving children and families with mental health, substance abuse and behavioral problems. Requires management and supervisory skills, and clinical expertise.

Directions for Living has embarked upon implementing and imbedding Trauma Informed Care principles throughout our agency. Candidates should have knowledge and/or interest in assisting Directions for Living carry out this implementation.

DUTIES

This position directly supervises the children and families outpatient and in-home clinicians. Responsible for ensuring that productivity standards and other accountability standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MA in counseling, psychology, social work or related Human Services field.
• Florida licensure as an LMFT, LMHC or LCSW required.
• Requires excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Requires a minimum of two years of clinical experience with children and families.
• Understanding of integrated behavioral health concepts and practices.
• Requires a minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be proficient in electronic health care record systems.
• Must have the knowledge of a wide range of effective therapeutic interventions including CBT and Trauma Focused Care.
• Must be proficient in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment.
