Staff Accountant

The fixed asset accountant position is responsible for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.  Candidate has be versed in creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures and forms for the recording of fixed assets, calculation of depreciation, and conduct period physical inventories. 

Experience with audit schedules and preparing for year-end audit is preferred. 

Desired qualifications 3+ years of experience with fixed asset accounting, with cost accounting experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
