Payroll Specialist- Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY: Pay Rate: $18.27/hour plus benefits!
The Payroll Specialist processes accurate payroll for employees and ensures accurate coding to the general ledger via the chart of accounts. This position works in conjunction with the Human Resources Dept., to ensure the accuracy of payroll data entered by the HR department. This work is done in accordance with oral and written directions/instructions from the Director of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer.
Experience with Certipay and TimeCo payroll systems a plus
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduation from an accredited two-year college and three years of previous payroll experience or graduation from an accredited high school and an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Knowledge of work processing, spreadsheets and database.
- Knowledge of payroll processing for multiple sites.
