Health Care Recruiter

Responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring qualified Behavioral Health Providers,  Social Service, Child Welfare and Administrative professionals to meet the agency's business needs. The Recruiter will develop relationships with Program and Department Directors and Supervisors to determine open position needs and provide successful placements. 

Recruiter will also be responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the Job Description position requirements, negotiating compensation, overseeing the completion of onboarding requirements, creating and managing job postings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops and executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality Behavioral Health and agency professionals who meet the agency's immediate and projected needs
2. Utilizes various recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates
3. Matches and evaluates candidate skills to program or department needs through screening and interviewing process.
4. Completes necessary reference checks on candidate's background and work experience
5. Ensures candidates meet required hiring standards pursuant to applicable funding contracts.
6. Negotiates salary, terms and conditions of employment with candidates
7. Maintains regular contact to and develops relationships with Directors, Supervisors and  referral sources to identify current agency staffing needs and requirements, projected openings, Ensures client and referral source expectations are understood and met while addressing and resolving concerns relating to customer service, caregiver or field staff performance
8. Builds and cultivates relationships with Community base and Health Care providers, Universities and other sources to gain industry knowledge, referrals, and recruitment leads.
9. Attends career fairs
10. Ensure concise, accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and documentation.
11. Posts open positions at all office locations and keeps updated as needed.
12. Responsible for drafting and posting positions on various internet job boards and website
13. Responsible for assisting candidates with new hire paperwork: FDLE, drug screens, fingerprinting, local background checks and offer letters.
14. Prepares various reports on Human Resources metrics as assigned or required.
15. Maintains compliance with all E-learning and mandatory DFL trainings

Will be knowledgeable in and practice all   policies and procedures related to privacy and security practices cited in the Health Insurance Portability and Privacy Act (HIPPA) applicable to my program and position.

 EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education with 2 years' experience working as a Healthcare Recruiter with demonstrated knowledge of  EEO-1, Affirmative Action and Human Resource federal and state laws and regulations preferred; or four or more years of relevant Recruitment experience with demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource federal and state laws and regulations; or any combination of relevant education, experience, knowledge and demonstrated skills which will enable satisfactory performance.
2. Results driven, sense of urgency, and high standard of professionalism with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
