Early Childhood Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a bachelor level position. The employee is directly responsible for providing parent skills training to parents of children aged zero to five, program oriented and consumer oriented consultation, and educational workshops to programs servicing the ages birth to eight population. The employee is assigned full time to these responsibilities. Responsible to meet productivity requirements of 75% which includes 1440 billable hours annually or a minimum of 30 billable hours per week.

Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation. Essential employees may be required to work in the field, be "on call" and/or be available and able to work remotely providing telehealth services depending on the needs of the individual being served.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Psychology, Social Work or Bachelor's degree in a closely related field, preferred or a minimum of an Associate's degree with two years of previous experience.
