Division Director of Outpatient Services

This is a key position involving substantial leadership, guidance, direction of administrative and program operations responsibilities. The Division Director is directly responsible for multiple clinical and social services operations, including adult and children's outpatient services, psychiatric/medical and psychological services. It includes the oversight of Assisted Outpatient Treatment - an field based intensive court-ordered mental health services program , The Division Director of Outpatient Services will consider every idea and responsibility contained herein through the lens of Trauma Informed Care (TIC), and specifically geared towards promoting recovery for the people served by Directions for Living and the integration of behavioral health and systems of care such as homelessness. These two guiding principles form an umbrella under which all services provided are contained. The Division Director serves as the subject matter expert on all topics related to, trauma, treatment, service provision and organizational change to address the impact and prevalence of trauma and its relationship with mental health conditions, mental illness and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The successful incumbent understands the clinical, operational, and workforce changes necessary to effect organizational change across multiple service sectors, including behavioral health services, homeless services, schools, primary care, and non-direct human services. Responsible for providing trauma informed leadership, direction, guidance and training for peer supports, targeted mental health case managers, licensed and non-licensed clinicians, physicians and nurse practitioners, clinical and non-clinical supervisors, and clinical and non-clinical directors while overseeing a range of administrative and clinical activities in support of running a safe and therapeutic milieu..

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

Masters' degree in Social Work or related field and Florida Licensure, LCSW or LMHC required. Minimum of five to seven years of experience in Leadership and delivering or consulting on child welfare services and/or a combination of child welfare and behavioral services. Candidate must have experience delivering trauma-related services, familiarity on trauma theory and research and advancement of trauma-informed approaches. Florida licensure in a clinical specialty preferred. Successful experience as a change agent; implementing quality improvement initiatives and complex organizational change. Dynamic and innovative presentation and public speaking skills; demonstrated knowledge of group facilitation and training skills. Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated expertise in effectively writing blogs, marketing materials, proposals, curriculum and training materials. Adept at learning new technologies to facilitate distance learning (e.g. Adobe Connect, GoToMeeting)
